Fabulous Friday!

It's a Fabulous Friday!  What is everyone going to be doing this weekend?

Saturday morning I get to pick D. up from being in Boston for the last two days...and he had snow last night!  Going to watch Georgia hopefully beat the crap out of the Florida Gators at the Biggest Cocktail Party in Jacksonville.  Unfortunately, we will not be attending :-(


We have a Halloween party to attend and I can't reveal our costumes but I assure you that you will get a little bit of a chuckle!  The only hint I can give is that we are both cartoon characters but have nothing related to each other.  Hopefully on Sunday my fantasy team will actually get a win.  I am going to try to take down the leader (Love you Tiff!)  What is everyone dressing up as?

What I love Wednesday!

I AM LOVING... that Gigi is finally getting a haircut today.  She stinks and with her allergies she is just a knotted mess, even though she gets brushed like 5 times a day!

I AM LOVING... that since I couldn't attend my College 10 year reunion, D. decided to make me a scavenger hunt to keep my mind off it.  The highlights included dinner at Logans, shopping for a new pair of earrings and bowling.

I AM LOVING... that my good friend Ashley is starting a new dessert business called "A Petite Sweet".  Her initials happen to be APS...how cute is that!  Check out her Blog and Facebook page!

Challenge - 8 FEARS!

Today is 8 fears...and since I fear all these things I am not posting any pictures.

1. Pretty obvious, losing my family members & Gigi.
2. Clowns.  I don't know what it is but they really scare me.  Will never go to the circus.
3. Snakes. slithering, creepy snakes....GROSS
4. Being embarrassed in public
5. Needles are no fun, but I think most people think that way
6. Falling down stairs.  I think it comes from when I was 6 and fell down a whole flight of stairs at my uncles cabin, but lived to tell about it
7. Having feet on me.  My roommates in college used to pin me down and rub them on me to get answers.  It was like Chinese Water Torture.
8.Shrinking clothes..I buy everything a size larger and even though I hang most things I end up shrinking everything.  I stink at laundry.

Jets & Guns!

We spent last weekend flying home to New Jersey and getting the chance to go to Monday Night Football and watch my NY Jets (FAB!) win against the Miami Dolphins (not FAB).  We got up there Saturday night late so the festivities didn't really start till Sunday.  Sunday was spent shooting shotguns and watching footballs and going to the local bar called Calloways...great food too!  D. had never shot skeet so he had a blast getting to smash the clay discs.  He wasn't a bad shot either!  I actually hit 2, but don't ask how many I didn't hit.

Monday we spent the day showing D. the "shore" I grew up at and getting our tailgate all ready.  The food..OMG did we have a ton of food.  

Menu: 

Littleneck Clams, Clam Chowder from the 2011 Chowderfest Winner "California Grill", Steak, London Broil, Polish and Italian Sausage, Fresh Mozzarella and Pepperoni, Chicken & Crab Legs....Not to mention beer, wine and champagne.  

A NY Jets staffer took a picture of us and said we had the best food he had seen at a tailgate.  We know how to do it right!  Tuesday came and we were exhausted and it was time for us to leave the Garden State and head back to the Palmetto State.  I am so glad that we did this for the 2nd year in a row and can't wait till next year!  J-E-T-S! Jets! Jets! Jets!
